Here are the new glasses! This was taken after we made cookie dough and Ethan is in the midst of devouring as much of the dough as he can before the cookies are baked.
He looks adorable! I think little kids with glasses are really sweet.
My second child got glasses when he was four, and I hate to say I had a harder time adjusting than he did. With glasses, he no longer looked like himself. Now I can't imagine him without his glasses.
And he can SEE, LOL. That's important, especially during the early years when kiddos are learning their numbers and letters, the minute details of the world.
And my son has never been teased about glasses, either. That was a worry, too. I was afraid it would make him a target. But so far, so good.
Ah, thanks everyone. He hasn't gotten used to wearing them yet and pulls them off after just a few minutes, but I think he can see better as he looks around at everything curiously. Mopsy, when I saw Ethan in glasses I thought he looked like pics of your little guy-who is cute as a bug! Thanks for all the encouraging words.
Oooh glasses make him look so smart. Don't you find? I am sure once he gets used to them he won't even think about them.
My niece has vision in only one eye. The doctor wants her to wear glasses just to protect her eye. She's pretty good about it. She just started kindergarten.

Very stylish. They look nice! I hope your DD is getting used to him wearing them, too.
Oh my goodness, they make him look so grown up! Very nice.
Does he mind them?
