It's absolutely gorgeous, Joanne, but I know from living near where you live for over twenty years, this much snow goes beyond beautiful and becomes frightening.
Our here in western Colorado we got the very tail end of the storm, just enough snow to make our streets icy and treacherous.
I will say this, though. As long as you have power, this can be magical. When the power (and the heat) go out, that's a different story altogether.
Your photos are just amazing. It truly is beautiful.
Merry Christmas to you and your family. No doubt about it. You'll have a white Christmas and possible a white New Year's Day and maybe even a white Valentine's Day! :-)
Snow is very pretty! My brother and his wife and kids live in Colorado but they're here for Christmas. Next year, we're all thinking of visiting him so we can have a white Christmas too.
Thanks for the great snow pictures. My grandaughter and husband and little boy live right outside of Denver and your photos really put it in to perspective for me...and to think she was born and brought up in North Carolina. I hope you have a wonderful old-fashioned WHITE Christmas.
