Not Just Another Teenager

I thought someone switched babies with me at the hospital.

And I brought home an Indian baby. None of my kids had hair as dark as Sarabeth.

But her skin did lighten up.

Her hair got lighter

Then redder

Blonder & straighter

My little angel

Grew up & became a teenager

And then she was 20.

We both share this special day together as Mom's. Although I think you beat me to it that day. She is beautiful and so grown up! Zeke spent his birthday in Wilmington, kayaking and riding over the dunes with his girlfriend in his new jeep - ahhh to be 20.

What an adorable baby, and lovely young lady!! My Susan was like that, my husband and I couldn't pick her out because she was so different from the 1st two (who were also different from each other, but not THAT different!) ..we had to look for our last name! She does get quite a dark tan now, though. My 6th daughter did what Sarabeth did, her skin lightened up, turned into a blondie. Happy birthday!!

WOW, she was REALLY dark -- what a lot of changes! My 2nd was my darkest and the only one to stay that way so far.

Happy birthday to her!

Happy birthday Sarabeth!

(My babies didn't have that much hair, but they were all really red like that for about a month after they were born!)
