6 Truths No Lies/UPDATED

Hi Mom! We’ve hijacked your blog. Surprise!
As your children we so thoroughly enjoyed being stumped by your truths that we figured you would enjoy a good stumping in return.

6 kids and 6 truths that have, until this point, remained secret
Some of them are funny, some of them are naughty but all of them are incidents that you don’t know about…which if you know anything about yourself; it’s pretty hard to keep a secret from you.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to correctly match each kid to his/her secret truth.
Your prize: the satisfaction of being right…again…like always…

1. When I was 16 I was pulled over for going 15+ mph over the speed limit after curfew and talked my way into a written warning.

2. After being involuntarily placed in the back of a cop’s car I was able to talk my way out of it.

3. I got suspended from school for skipping class and talked the administration into letting me sign the parent notification form.

4. I was handcuffed by cops when they broke up an underage drinking party but talked my way out of it by fabricating a bogus medical condition.

5. I violated numerous traffic laws when I drove the wrong way on a street and in the process damaged one of your vehicles to the point of needing repair.

6. When I was 16 I snuck two six packs of Smirnoff Ice into my bedroom and drank them by myself.

THIS WAS NOT WRITTEN BY JOANNE (LIVE4TRUTH) BUT BY HER CHILDREN
Christina, Christopher, Lauren, Elisabeth, Sarabeth, Hilary
(Elisabeth's comment in revealing the answers:WELL! Mom you didn't do very well, but, you and dad tied for first place with 2 correct answers. But I guess you have waited long enough, here are the correct answers:
1. Hilary
2. Lauren
3. Christina
4. Elisabeth
5. Sarabeth
6. Christopher
The good news is, none of us got in trouble for these incidents..
Hahahahaha We love you :))

Apparently someone very bad has broken into my account. I have a feeling that several of these were by the same child and not one for each of my children, am I right so far.

What I really want to know is WHO KNOWS MY PASSWORD?????

Oh wait, that is probably all of you.

ROTFL!!!! What are you kids trying to do ~ give your mom a heart attack???

I am sooooo looking forward to the answers on this one!

Apparently you (Joanne) have some kids with very good negotiating skills! Any of them want to be a lawyer? LOL

What a fun bunch of children you have, (or at least one very fun child among the gang)!! This has made me laugh out loud, it was so unexpected, entertaining, and clever!! Enjoy them, they're worth it!!

Haha, we all sound like a bunch of criminals :) There is one for each child...any guesses yet?

I read these pretty late last night after someone tipped me off. On one hand, I suppose I deserve this after I posted my truths. But I had perfect kids who kids NEVER got in trouble(oops, didn't get caught?)

Alright, alright...anyone else want to guess before I do? I will give my first thoughts, possible hints for those who maybe don't know my kids as well as I do. (LOL, I will probably get them all wrong, as apparently they are sneakier than I thought.)

1. Probably wasn't my oldest, as she had a curfew and wouldn't have been out that late. The fast drivers? Christopher, Lauren, Elisabeth (If the others drive fast, it isn't around me.)

2. Involuntarily? Does anyone volunteer to sit in the back of a police car? Oh wait, in a ride-along. So this means you were politely asked to sit there?

3. This could be anyone of them. They are all good at negotiating.

4. Let's see, which of you were in drama (or should have been?) Christina, Sarabeth, Lauren, Christopher...I think Hilary would have panicked, and Elisabeth probably would have truly gotten sick-or was that the medical condition?

5. Holy Cow! I'd like to hear this story, well actually all of the stories, but this most likely was the Honda or blue van.

6. This most likely is one of the girls.

I'll guess later today. And thanks guys, for ruining my reputation of having perfect children.

Kate-yes, I do think they were trying to give me a heart attack. I can't wait to hear the truths either.

Cheryl-thanks for your kind words.

I thought this was really funny and somewhat frightening (as the mom of 7 kids who are under the age of 12).

I love this post Joanne's kids. I can't wait to hear the answers.

Okay, I'm going to give my guesses. I'll go with first instincts, as if I think about this too hard, I'll probably get very confused. (As if I haven't thought about it all day.)

And some of you have some explaining to do. Well, all of you.

I was going to guess number 5 for Elisabeth, but the top of the post says these were all secret. I figured the time El went in a ditch was number 5. But if that is incorrect, here are my guesses:
1. Elisabeth
2. Hilary
3. Christina
4. Christopher
5. Sarabeth
6. Lauren
I hated picking Lauren for the last one, since she (I think) has had the most incidents involving vehicles. But I'll go with those anyway.
(and if 5 is El, then my answers are: 1-SB, 2-HH, 3-Christina, 4-Christopher, 5-El, 6-Lauren)

And now I want to hear about the incidents. You can let you dad guess before you reveal if you want. But he's been way busy with work last night and today.

Oh, boy! I think my kids are pretty good kids. This makes me nervous about what they'll do when they're older!!!

Reminds me of sitting around the dinner table as young adults telling our parents all the adventures we had that they knew nothing about. lol What fun!!

BTW, sounds like those kids of yours can be very persuasive!! Could come in handy someday....well, already has. lol

As a Mom of 6 with the oldest being 13 this makes me smile and see you do have a perfect group of kids. The unity, love and humor that was put into this is great. We all had some mishaps and trials as we were growing up some of which we can only see the humor in years later.
Be proud they took the time to play alittle joke on Mom, I think it's awesome and I think raising a larger family takes guts and sense of humor.
To the kids.. this was so cleaver! :) Good job gang.

What is the answer? I so enjoy this. With 8 of my own and the two adopted boys. I know alot of things because my girls will talk to me but I know that they still have secrets because they will talk around me and when I say what they will say never mind mom.

Truth said...

Yes, I am still waiting for the answer. Hope one of you gets them put up ASAP.

hahahhaha mom said, "This one wouldn't be Christopher, smirnoff is a girl's drink, he would have gotten beer." hahahaha

Maybe next time I'll get an Appletini, mike's hard lemonade, and a wine spritzer to top it off...

At least I've never been in handcuffs or in the back of a cop car!!

Haha, this was so fun! I loved reading the guesses...I might wait on telling you the reason I was in the car ;) Love you!
